Vaccinations

Prior to any vaccination, your veterinarian must first make certain that your pet it healthy. Ensuring that your pet does not have an elevated temperature or underlying signs of illness will ensure that the vaccine(s) given will be both effective and protective. Some vaccines can be administered every 2 years, whereas others still require an annual booster to remain protective.

Puppies and kittens should initially be vaccinated at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks of age. Try to avoid contact between your puppy or kitten and unvaccinated animals until he/she is fully vaccinated.

These are the core vaccines that we administer:

Dogs

DA2PP - Distemper, Adenovirus type 2 (infectious canine hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza virus

Leptospirosis

Rabies

Cats

FVRCP - Feline viral rhinotracheitis, Feline calicivirus, Feline panleukopenia virus

Feline Leukemia Virus
