Our After-Hours Process

When you call our emergency line, you will be connected with our virtual care partner, Smart.vet. You will speak directly to a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who will triage your pet's situation. Based on their assessment, they will recommend one of two paths:

Virtual Care: If telemedicine is recommended, the RVT will set up a virtual consultation where a veterinarian can provide prescriptions and recommendations.

In-Person Care: If the situation is critical, you will be directed to the on-call hospital for immediate in-person care.

If You Suspect Poisoning

If you are concerned your pet has eaten something toxic, please call the Pet Poison Helpline immediately. They are the leading experts and can provide life-saving recommendations on the next steps.
